Once known as the home of Mademoiselle Permutala, this special stone house has been carefully restored while preserving the island’s historic character. I visited this house during Easter celebrations when I was a child. Many years later, it has been brought back to life and now welcomes guests who wish to experience Gökçeada in a more peaceful, authentic, and distinctive way.
Designed as a reverse duplex, the house offers a comfortable and practical living space. The upper floor includes the entrance, dining area, open-plan kitchen and living room, one bedroom, and a restroom. The lower floor features a workspace, dressing area, second bedroom, bathroom, laundry area, and a charming backyard.
For your comfort, the house is equipped with air conditioning. During your stay, you are also welcome to enjoy olive oil made from olives harvested on the island. It is stored in the century-old clay jar inside the house and is available for you to use with breakfast or meals.
